Loto FAQ
Q- What is Zeed?
Zeed is a lottery game offered optionally upon purchase of a lotto Grid. Zeed is a classical lottery where the player is assigned a random 5 digits number. On the draw date, a winning number (also composed of 5 digits) is drawn randomly. If the last 2 digits of the winning number match the last 2 digits of your Zeed number, then you are eligible for a prize. The more digits you match (starting with the rightmost digit) the higher your prize! Draws are held in parallel with lotto draws (on every Monday and Thursday).
Q- What is the deadline for entering a certain draw?
You can enter your orders until 15h:30 on the day of the draw (Mondays or Thursdays). Orders made after that time will enter the following draw.
Q- What is the 'What If' (in the Lotto Play Area)?
‘What If” shows you how a specific grid would have performed in previous draws. It compares your selection to the 7 numbers drawn (6 main 1 bonus) in previous draws and highlights the hits. To use the ‘What If’, select (or highlight) the grid that you wish to test and click on 'What If' under the number selector.
Q- How do I know if I won?
Draws are held every Monday and Thursday at 19:30 Beirut Local time. The draw is transmitted live on LBCI. PlayLebanon users who have entered a specific draw will be notified, by email, within a few minutes from the draw, with the results of the draw and the performance of their orders.
Q- How and when will I receive my winnings?
After the draw, your winnings are automatically credited to your purse. You may use them to enter future draw or choose to collect them (or withdraw funds available in your purse) at any time. Withdrawn funds are sent to you either in the form of a check, by mail, or through a bank transfer. You may order a withdrawal from the ‘My PlayLebanon’ section.
Q- Are the winnings taxable?
All Winnings exceeding 10 times the grid cost are subject to a withholding Tax of 20 % as per the lebanese law and only the net amount is credited to your purse.
Q- Does Playlebanon take a share from my winnings?
No. PlayLebanon fees are supported by La Libanaise des Jeux. Prizes are paid in full without deduction of any sort (save for applicable taxes).
